Clem, Dassel & Co is pleased to announce the addition of John Perkins, CPA to the firm’s Poseyville office.
John has over 10 years of experience providing public accounting, taxation, business consulting and audit services to clients in a variety of industries. At Clem, Dassel & Co, he will provide a broad range of tax planning, research, and compliance as well as accounting for privately held owner-operated businesses and individuals. He will also serve as a key strategic member of the firm’s Agribusiness team.
John joined Clem, Dassel & Co from Accuride Corporation, a global commercial vehicle components manufacturer, where he worked in corporate financial reporting, accounting and tax. Prior to Accuride, he worked for over 8 years with regional CPA firms serving the tax and accounting needs of privately held owner-operated businesses, nonprofits, and individuals.
Throughout his career, John has been known for his unwavering support for his community and commitment to the profession. In 2016, he was named to Evansville Business Journal’s 20 under 40. In 2017, John received the Outstanding Community Service Award from the Indiana CPA society. In 2018, John was one of only 41 CPAS honored by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) as a member of their Leadership Academy’s 10th graduating class.
John is a graduate of Ball State University, with B.S. and M.S. degrees in accounting.
